Cammies & Canines – A Dog’s Sanctuary Run by Vets!

A doggy daycare operated by Veterans. Healing our heroes through the loving companionship of a dog.

Our Veterans don’t just come home to programs they come home to communities. For some Vets their transition home can be a downward spiral leading towards homelessness and self destruction. Cammies & Canines is helping those Veterans find healing through 1-on-1 mentorship, jobs, recreating camaraderie and esprit de corps, and the unconditional-loving companionship only dogs know to give. A grassroots level initiative, we’re opening a dog daycare ‘sanctuary’ staffed by Veterans.

Please help if you can. Here is our link:

“We want to thank everyone for supporting us in our efforts to make a positive difference in San Diego. Purchasing our dog collar, dog leash, or Tshirt has helped us reach out to our homeless Veterans. Soon we will be rolling out our dog toys which are made from military scraps! If you haven’t done so already you can support us (even if you don’t have a dog) by buying a Tshirt!”

Very respectfully,

Darris chats with Kalani Creutzburg CEO & Founder of Cammies & Canines. They are a veteran-owned company who create dog toys out of recycled military equipment proving there is use for it after it returns from battle. Their mission is to promote unity and emotional health amongst our homeless veterans by aiding them with basic daily needs. They employ men and women who so honorably served our country, as they continue to honor them, helping them have the happy, productive lives they deserve. Equally important, our four-legged companions give us health, happiness, and unconditional love, and they absolutely deserve the same in return.
